MEET MIKE
“If there was a Pulitzer Prize category for wedding photos Mike would win all of the awards. We wanted a photography style that accurately captured reality; nothing super bright, washed out, or really dark. Mike’s style was perfect to capture all the amazing moments on our wedding. His skill at framing and taking photos is second to none and his editing ability is unmatched. He was a great guy to work with and was so fun to be around. Hire him and you will be glad you did.“
Katie + Alex
As soon as I met Katie and Alex for their engagement shoot back in the fall, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolute barn-burner (pun intended?) Their love-filled, laughter-filled, cow-filled day was the perfect summation of their relationship.
After a few tearful note readings, Katie and Alex opted for a first look where Alex’s reaction is pretty much all you need to know about the love these two share for each other. As their guests arrived they played lawn games before the ceremony, serenaded by Two Rivers Chamber Music. And then the main event began.
Proceeded by a beaming wedding party and two absolutely adorable flower girls, Katie made her way down the aisle with her floor-length veil blowing in the wind. Lots of laughter, a few tears, and some mooing later, our main characters made their way back down the aisle as a married couple. While we walked the grounds of the beautiful Rock Hill Farm, their guests made themselves comfortable in the barn with an appetizing spread, bar, and even the Tip Top Tap Truck’s “Booze Cruiser.”
After a stunning first dance, the couple and I snuck away to spend some time with our bovine friends at sunset. We returned to a few incredibly poignant speeches before the reception devolved into a raucous dance party complete with multiple rounds of shots and a dancing panda.
The night culminated in a fairytale sparkler exit where Katie and Alex shared one more passionate kiss before joining in with the cheering crowd.
